United Investment Limited S.A. and Galata Port Management A.Ş. made Assan Port Management A.Ş.`s share transfer.

Turkish Airlines, Turkish Airlines Technical Inc., and Kibar Holding established Aircraft Seat Manufacturing Industry and Trade Inc. (Turkish Seats Industries - TSI) in partnership with South Korea's Hanil Seoyon E-Hwa, a joint venture of their existing collaboration. In 2014, TSI produced its first domestically designed aircraft seat.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new facilities of İspak, a Kibar Group subsidiary operating in the flexible packaging sector, was held in the Kocaeli Asım Kibar Organized Industrial Zone. The new facility, covering 25,000 m² of indoor space and a total of 60,000 m² with a production capacity of 40,000 tons, was constructed.

Assan Aluminum earned the 300th R&D Center Certificate from the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology of Turkey.

A new investment of 22 million Turkish liras was implemented at Assan Gıda, covering production optimization and general improvements. With this enhancement, production capacity reached 4,500 tons/day for fresh tomatoes and 1.5 million products/day.

The seats manufactured by Turkish Seats Industries (TSI) began to be used not only in Boeing 737-800 aircraft but also in the wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft. This made the seats of Turkish Airlines' 30th Boeing 777-300ER aircraft domestically produced.

Assan Aluminum, one of the group's companies, started a new production facility investment valued at 900 million dollars under the "Project-Based Investment Incentive System." With this investment, production of alloyed aluminum flat products for the defense, aerospace, and automotive industries began, aiming to provide employment for 640 people.
