Program Design and Content Structure

The K-STAR RISE Supplier Sustainability Training Program was created by analyzing the sustainability needs of Kibar Group’s supplier ecosystem. While designing the training modules and content structure, international sustainability guidelines, global frameworks, and sectoral expectations were taken into account.

Key steps taken during the design phase include:

• Modular structure focused on ESG: Four main modules were created to ensure accessible and foundational knowledge on environmental, social, and governance topics for suppliers.
• Detailed content supported by subtopics: A total of 16 main topics and 83 subtopics were defined, and all content was prepared as short, clear, and easily accessible videos.
• Interactive and user-friendly learning experience: All videos were enhanced with professional voiceovers and animations to strengthen user engagement.
• Certification mechanism: A digital certification system was introduced to recognize participants who complete the modules and increase visibility of progress.

Key Objectives of the K-STAR RISE Supplier Sustainability Training Program

The program has been developed with the following main goals:

• Enhancing suppliers’ sustainability knowledge: Creating ESG awareness, reinforcing understanding of fundamental concepts, and guiding suppliers toward sustainable business models.
• Embedding Kibar Group’s sustainability strategy into the supplier ecosystem: Ensuring that sustainability principles are adopted not only within internal operations but across the entire value chain.
• Supporting suppliers in their green transformation: Providing guidance on regulatory compliance, evolving business requirements, and process transformation.
• Establishing a long-term, resilient, and informed supplier network: Encouraging development through knowledge-based learning and strengthening collaboration.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement: Facilitating the tracking of global sustainability trends and ensuring that the training platform remains dynamic and up to date.

Program Content Modules

K-STAR RISE offers a wide-ranging learning experience through five key modules:

1. Green Future: Introduction to Sustainability: ESG fundamentals, sustainability goals, climate change.
2. Power of Nature: Environmental Sustainability: Climate action, energy management, carbon footprint, circular economy.
3. Value to People: Social Sustainability: Employee rights, occupational health and safety, inclusion, social impact.
4. Ethical Leadership: Sustainable Governance: Ethical business conduct, corporate compliance, risk management, transparency, management systems.
5. Strength in Skills (Personal Development) : Negotiation, communication, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and other professional development topics.
