Within Kibar Holding A.Ş., it is accepted that measures and practices related to occupational health and safety are an integral part of the work and production process. The principles adopted by the group in this regard are listed below, and these principles are also applicable to all suppliers:

  • To provide a healthy and safe working environment for employees in accordance with the applicable national legislation to prevent accidents and injuries, and where applicable, to provide healthy and safe accommodations. Therefore, the supplier must carry out activities that reduce risks potentially threatening employee safety, considering relevant standards and laws, and implement systematic activities that ensure the health and safety of employees.
  • To implement and continuously improve activities related to occupational health and safety.
  • To act in compliance with the standards stipulated under the existing occupational health and safety legislation.
  • To identify hazards in advance and eliminate them by conducting risk analysis.
  • To create awareness about occupational health and safety and provide regular training to employees. Kibar Holding A.Ş. requires its suppliers to identify and control adverse effects that could be harmful to human health, prevent injuries and situations that could negatively impact health, carry out continuous improvement activities, and comply with Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety, as well as the regulations and notices issued under this law.

Aware that the most important factor is creating awareness about occupational health and safety within the community, Kibar Holding A.Ş. requires all suppliers and employees to meet the training needs related to job safety and, in addition to the mandatory OHS training required by law, adopt a proactive approach to develop a culture of behavior along with technical knowledge.

Kibar Holding A.Ş. expects its suppliers to adopt the rules and principles of job safety and to use improvement/optimization methods in the supervision and monitoring of job safety practices, thereby enhancing their own supervision and protection competencies.

To ensure the effective implementation of these principles adopted under OHS, risk analysis studies are carried out in all operational areas of the group, and necessary measures are taken to minimize identified risks.
